Many people are not as attentive to their surroundings as they believe themselves to be. This work began by observing the small, often unnoticed details in people’s daily lives—their habits, speech patterns, and gestures. I became increasingly curious about how people perceive their environment, and more specifically, how they come to show interest in others. As I continued this process, I found myself shifting roles—from being part of the scene to becoming an observer of indifference.
